Your tasks
- Participation in the management of the PhD Programme in Management (PMA)
- Teaching assistance in the English track of the programme for the Master of Accounting and Finance (MAccFin) and at the Bachelor's level
- Administrative support of the Chair's activities (e.g., organisation of conferences, workshops).
- Independent research activities in a young, dynamic, and international team
- Participation at international conferences and workshops
Your profile
- High personal motivation and responsible work ethics
- Keen interest in learning how to work scientifically as a base for an academic or professional career
- Excellent marks in your diploma, licentiate, or master studies in business, economics, or related fields
- Excellent understanding in financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or international accounting
- Strong existing computer skills with MS Office; the competent use of a statistical software (e.g. STATA, R, or Python) will be expected throughout the program
- Strong English spoken and written communication skills
The Chair of Accounting is specialized in research topics related to international accounting and financial reporting primarily using empirical archival research designs. You will benefit from a collaborative working environment with a high degree of personal responsibility and flexible working hours. In addition, you can expect strong support in developing research methods, data science skills, and completing your dissertation in accounting.
