Global Head of Portfolio - Mining & Materials

Lead the global Grinding & Material Handling portfolio with a mandate to drive profitable growth, shape offerings according to market needs, and accelerate business impact. You translate business strategy and global market signals into a competitive, future‑ready offering - making decisions, pursuing new opportunities, and ensuring strong commercial outcomes. You own the portfolio end‑to‑end, define go‑to‑market and segment strategies, and lead the Product Management team to deliver profitable, sustainable growth.
Your portfolio comprises of (but not limited to) Gearless Mill Drives, Ring-geared Mill Drives and Drive Systems for High Pressure Grinding Rolls, Conveyors, Shovels and Excavators.

The working model is hybrid, #LI-Hybrid.

Your main responsibilities:
•    Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle Management
Own and steer the global portfolio across its full lifecycle - continuously analyzing performance, identifying new opportunities, and making global investment and partnering decisions to strengthen competitiveness and profitability. Shape offering positioning and ensure the portfolio reflects evolving customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

•    Offering Development & Roadmap Execution
Translate business strategy into differentiated offering plans grounded in market and customer value analysis. Drive new portfolio development through roadmap planning, clear customer segmentation, R&D collaboration, active M&A planning, localization strategies, and optimized trading models. Prioritize investments that maximize time‑to‑market, customer service levels, and margin.

•    Market Intelligence & Business Planning
Lead global market, technology, competitor, regulatory, and customer‑trend analysis - deter-mining value propositions and competitive positioning. Approve global business plans, guide pricing and business model decisions, and ensure local plans align with global strategy.

•    Stakeholder Leadership & Customer Engagement
Act as interface between external customers and internal functions (Sales, Operations, R&D). Manage escalations, drive customer satisfaction, and represent the portfolio externally. Build and lead a high‑performing global Product Management organization with strong talent development, rotation, and succession planning.

Qualifications for the role:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
•    At least 10 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or R&D. Your extensive experience and knowledge in the mining industry, along with your familiarity with grinding & material handling solutions, will make you a standout candidate. You’re comfortable working with drive & control systems, and you’ve had exposure to product development. You know how to uncover user needs and deliver compelling user experiences. Your methodological approach, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills make you self-motivated and highly focused.
•    You communicate clearly and persuasively, and you know how to build collaboration across diverse teams.
•    Fluency in English is essential for this role.
