As an Electronics Engineer in this role, you will be entrusted with the engineering of electronic products, ensuring compliance with the required technical specifications. This encompasses active involvement in both new product development and the enhancement of existing products.

Your responsibilities
 

• Lead and manage projects throughout the life cycle of electronic products post-sales release.
• Oversee all product variants and customization requests in alignment with the ABB gate model, from initiation to sales release.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, operations, sales units, and development teams to provide optimal solutions that meet business case requirements and ensure customer satisfaction in terms of response time, delivery, quality, and product performance.
• Facilitate the seamless transfer of new products from R&D development teams to Operations, including the provision of comprehensive documentation (e.g., BoM, Working Instruction, Spare Parts Manuals).
• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities, implementing improvement projects while adhering to specified timelines, quality standards, and cost requirements.
• Ensure the production process aligns with project targets.
• Approve internally or externally developed designs for processes and conduct final tests in line with project requirements.
• Provide support to Production during internal/external process/equipment start-up, including defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Define and lead testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

Your background
 

• Degree in Electronic Engineering (3 or 5 years).
• Proficient knowledge of manufacturing technologies.
• Strong familiarity with MS Office; proficiency in 2D/3D CAD systems.
• Appreciation for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Very good command of the English language.
• Positive spirit, proactivity, team working, speediness, and problem-solving orientation; commitment to delivering results by taking responsibility for assigned tasks and projects.
