In this role, you will be accountable for global sales of Grinding Mill Drives for the mining industry in our Process Industries Division, based in Baden-Dättwil (Switzerland), driving sales volumes and profit margins.You will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your responsibilities

• Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
• Presenting to customers and at industry events
• Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships utilizing Salesforce as CRM platform
• Promoting customer understanding of full offering and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
• Defining and leading sales strategies for selected projects
• Leading the offer process - preparing and ensuring the timely submission of technical and commercial bids as well as promoting sales bids to customers and negotiating contracts
• Using your knowledge of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
• Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities

Your background

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales
• Sound knowledge of electrical or electromechanical equipment and machinery for the minerals processing industry market or similar
• A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
• A degree in Electrical Engineering in the field of Electrical Machines and / or Power Electronics
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese or German will be advantageous
